Take a Step for Lymphoma Foundation

Untitled.001

My Garland Heart Mission is to raise money and awareness for the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF). One year ago, my wife Kim was diagnosed with NHL, Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She is in remission and thanks to the advances in medical research, her chances for recovery are better than ever. Sadly, however, she is one of 500,000 currently living with this disease. Lymphoma is the most common blood cancer in adults and the third most common cancer overall among children.

On Saturday, April 13, 2013, our family will be walking in the DFW 5K Lymphomathon. Our team goal is to raise $750 for the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF). The LRF is the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative research and providing people with lymphoma and healthcare professionals with up-to-date information about this type of cancer. LRF’s Scientific Advisory Board consists of the world’s leading lymphoma researchers, oncologists and hematologists, and is unrelentingly committed to finding a cure.

You can help support our Mission to eradicate Lymphoma and those touched by this disease by joining the walk team for Kim or through donations.
