2012 at The Garland Group

At The Garland Group we are always trying to get better and make strides to be on the cutting edge of compliance methodology. In 2010 we moved to a Continuous Compliance methodology where we risk base our section reviews and are able to put more audit resources in higher risk areas, at the same price. In 2011, we added over 30 free templates to RiskKey for all of our RiskKey customers to use. The most popular projects created this year were from the E-Banking Authentication, Red Flags and Enterprise Risk templates. In 2012, we have an exciting goal to strive for.

Provide the ultimate proactive compliance experience

This is obviously multi tiered, but believe it will lead to an even more concierge type approach to your compliance needs.

Create a Risk Operations Center or the ROC. We will be moving staff to a more ‘data center’ type roll where they will be mainly responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and quality control. These staff will also be front line support for our audit staff, leaving these staff members more time to spend with you, the client and professional development to stay on top of latest trends and security threats.

Integrate account managers into our client relationships. Right now, we all ‘do whatever it takes’ to answer questions and be available for our clients. While this ‘do whatever it takes’ attitude still remains, our clients now will have a dedicated staff member to reach and have a definitive place to go to discuss anything from reports to RiskKey to the Dallas Cowboys offensive line issues.

IMPACT Others. We have many meaningful relationships with our clients. However, we will be making efforts to impacting lives of our clients, clients customers and our communities. Brad shared an emotional story from Ritz Carlton. While this is a lofty goal, we still want to impact the lives of our clients. This can be anything from helping change a tire or volunteering at charities or throwing proms for 13 year old cancer patients. Just let us know how we can help and we’ll be there!

We definitely have more internal goals like professional development, client growth and process workflows but the above are most influential to our clients. We are very excited about 2012, and we hope you are too!
