On March 26, 2013, Regulation E, which implements the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, was amended to eliminate the requirement that a fee notice be posted on or at an automated teller machine (ATM). The requirement for a specific fee disclosure to appear on the machine’s screen or on paper issued from the machine remains unchanged.
